Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These terms set out the rules for using our website, landic.co.uk. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Landic Ltd (“Landic”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11145240. Our registered office is 19 Parkwood Road, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 2RN. You can contact us at info@landic.co.uk or on 07733 971 794.
2. Information on this site is not professional advice
The content on this website, including the answers given by our “What are you looking for?” planning guide, is general information about the planning system in England. It is not advice on your particular property or project, and you should not rely on it as such.
Planning law, national and local policy, fees and timescales change, and every site is different. Before acting, or deciding not to act, please speak to us or another suitably qualified professional. The planning guide gives automated, pre-written answers. It does not review your circumstances, and using it does not create a client relationship with us.
3. Our professional services
When you instruct us, our services are provided under a separate written fee proposal and terms of engagement. Those documents, not these website terms, govern our professional relationship with you. Any quote is only binding once confirmed in writing.
4. Enquiries through the website
Please make sure the information you send us is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Submitting an enquiry does not oblige either of us to enter into a contract. We aim to reply promptly but cannot guarantee a response time. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your personal data.
5. Using our site
Our site is free to use. We do not guarantee that it, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may suspend, change or withdraw any part of it for business or operational reasons.
You must not misuse the site, for example by knowingly introducing viruses or other harmful material, attempting to gain unauthorised access to it or to the systems it runs on, or using it to send unsolicited messages.
6. Intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, all intellectual property rights in this website and its content, including text, drawings, photographs and visualisations. Some images show projects carried out for our clients and are used with their permission.
You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own reference. You must not copy, adapt or use any content for commercial purposes, or use any images separately from their accompanying text, without our written permission.
7. Links to other websites
Links to third-party websites, such as councils, the Planning Portal or social media, are provided for your information only. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content.
You may link to our home page, provided you do so fairly and legally and in a way that does not damage our reputation or suggest any association or endorsement that does not exist.
8. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
If you are a business user, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations relating to the site and its content. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on its content, including loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any business losses.
We are not responsible for viruses or other harmful material that may affect your device as a result of using the site. Please use your own virus protection software.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date shown above, applies each time you use the site.
10. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
